The C+E mailing list announcement went out today with some exciting news. Here is a text copy for those of you not on the mailing list:

NEW "INTO THE LIGHT" 12" AND eSINGLE:

A new 12" vinyl and downloadable eSingle, of "Into the Light" is set for release on 11.02.03!

Featured are three brand new remixes (plus edits) by renowned Club DJ/Remixer Dave Aude. Aude's mixes for artists including Sting, Madonna, T.A.T.U, and Michelle Branch have consistently broken the top ten on Billboard's Dance Charts and packed dance floors around the world.

The new 12" vinyl single will include the three main Dave Aude remixes plus one club edit. And, as a Liquefaction first, "Into the Light' will be released in downloadable eSingle format. Available for purchase exclusively through www.causeandeffect.com , the eSingle download will feature high-quality MP3's of all the Dave Aude remixes and edits, plus the remixes from the first "Into the Light' 12" vinyl.

Very nice news!!! but the maillist changed??? I'm was in but don't received that update. I'll sign again.

They will not release that eSingle in CD? will be better that only keep MP3s in my opinion.

Not to worry. The message to the list hasn't gone out yet. We've made the request from our host but they haven't done it quite yet.

And no, the eSingle will not be released on CD but you can always burn your own with the MP3 files.

I took a listen to the new samples this afternoon, and the new remixes are very good...I'm looking foward to when it's available!!! :D

I have a question for all members do you no who redid real lifes"Send Me an angel" and Madonna "Like a Prayer" If So are they still in print and available. I heard these and many great songs at a club called Tracks in DC some of u may no it. It is closed now

I've never heard the Send Me An Angel cover you mentioned, but I have a very strong feeling the Madonna cover of Like A Prayer was from Information Society...If thats it, the Madonna tribute album from Cleopatra Records is still in print, and can be found at www.towerrecords.com :)

I believe Tycho Brahe did a very good remake of Send Me An Angel. I qiute enjoy it. And yes, InSoc did a cool version of Express Yourself but I haven't heard any other version of Like A Prayer.

On subject with this forum, anyone heard any coversof C&E?

Yeah.. Anything Box announced the cancellation a while back. I wonder why C&E didn't know about it...

Was C&E going to be playing with Anything Box at that show??? If not, maybe only A-Box cancelled that date and C&E took over the time slot??? Just wondering??? Thats pretty sad if it's really cancelled, it would have been an awesome night of music...
