FOREVER YOUNG COVER VERSION
the alphaville classic "forever young" has been released on a cd sampler (asin# B0000AQJOP) by the "various kids" project which have entered the european charts lately with the title "we will rock you".

It's really cute, u gotta give it a listen. I think www.alphaville.nu has a sample....

I totally love it! you were very right, it is very charming and quite beatuiful, I wonder to think perhaps the band may have originally intended for it to be this way, who knows? If I were Alphaville, I would be so incredibly honored to hear this version sung this way!

BTW, what do you think of the Forever Young version sung by Laura Branigan?

Who knows! But they made a nice cover of it and I'm satisfied. And I hope AV is too.

And Laura Branigan.
It's a good cover, but something's missing in her version, I just don't know what. It hasn't the same feeling as other covers.
Sure, it's catchy and dancable, but not the best one I've heard.

Hehe, it's good, but not soooooooooo good! I can hear it a couple of times but then I need to listen to the original version :D.

I went to the link, and both my wife and I immediately welled up with tears....... It's not cute, it's beautiful (The forever young sampler...) I think that we should send that song to every world leader....

How funny, my wife and I did the same thing! She had just got home from work and I told her, "Hey hon, you gotta listen to this!" She was tired, but it totally grabbed her attention and we both just kinda welled up! Very appropriate version if I do say so myself!
