ok, wow, what a wikked weekend! just got back from Montreal, it was my second trip ever there and i had a blast.
i made a special effort to get up there to catch M3N7A7's first ever show - i met these dudes over the internet and even did a remix for them. it was worth it for them alone, they really rocked, especially for their first time on stage. awesome....
but not only that, Headscan was even better than the first i saw them earlier this year in Toronto. i've never heard anyone's vocals with crazy effects like that come thru so clear live. freakin awesome....
and my first time at Foufounes Electriques, that is a cool joint. very cool lay-out for live. too bad one of their speakers got cacked for the A23 portion of the show. bummer there.
Montreal, and the scene in general is really awesome. everyone i met was super friendly. if you havent been and are with in driving/flying/heck-SWIMMING distance, definitely check it out. you will love it there.
anyone else goto the show and have half as good a time as i did?
peace out (to all my francophone homies!)
