I started spinning in 1997 as a hobby. I bought 2 technics 1200’s and a crapload of vinyl(which i still own btw) to keep myself occupied during the wee hours of the night at my home. I was spinning mainly darker jungle type stuff and harder electro breaks for about a year and got bored with the repetitive nature of the releases at the time. My favorite group has and will always be DEPECHE MODE. One day i decided to search for groups that were either influenced by or sounded like DM. After hours of searching online I came across a goldmine which is known as "modern synthpop"....needless to say...i was in heaven!! I began to collect any and everything i could get my hands on with the very unique style that sounded very familiar but at the same time very different. Today i spin a mainly synthpop and ebm set but can go off in any direction if i need to. I currently have residency’s at RETROACTIVE(an 80’s night),SYNTHETIK(ebm,synthpop,industrial), and ATARI.KA(new wave,electroclash)at SIN 13 in San Antonio,Tx. I also gig at various events around town when my services are called upon. My focus is to keep a dancefloor jumping and a crowd happy with a mix of the newest releases as well as the old favorites. I like to present a set that is one continous flow beatmatched to perfection but can break away at anytime to honor request. You can expect to hear groups/artist like cosmicity,and one,beborn beton,condition one,mesh,provision,leiadorhous,seabound,kontinnum,de/vision,fr/action,nukleon,vnv nation,melotron,iris,droom,covenant,haujobb,in strict confidence,project x,elegant machinery,colony 5,B! machine,endanger,cruxshadows,fictional,funker vogt,ravenous,echo image,diary of dreams,t.o.y,and god module in my sets.
